You can meet and train with sensei Kevin Moore at Total Fitness Altrincham every Tuesday at 5.30pm - 6.30pm.
Sensei Moore teaches Basics, Kata and Kumite in order for students to understand key blocks, punches and kicks.
These techniques are then put into Kata, set forms or patterns.
You will learn Kihon Kata (Basic Kata) through to higher grade Kata’s.
Sensei Moore will then develop your (Kumite), fighting where you will learn (Sanbon Kumite) three attack sparring
(Ippon Kumite) one attack sparring and (Jiyu Kumite)
free sparring where you will fight against an opponent under controlled conditions.
Once you can complete these moves you will then be asked to take your grading. A grading is a way of obtaining your belts. First of all you will attempt Orange belt 9th Kyu, this is the first belt in the colour grade system.
